Professional career
Peter Georg Studer worked in the legal department of Ernst & Young and as an assistant to the top management in the department of financial services of the Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS). Moreover, he was a senior associate in a law office.
In 1981 he established his own law and notary’s office in Zug. He was elected as a chairman / umpire in various arbitrations. Furthermore, he was a coroner of the Swiss military. Peter Georg Studer is chairman and member of the Advisory Board of several national- and international (holding) companies.
From 1991 to 1999 he had presided the Bar Association of the Canton of Zug and was a member of the Board of the Art Society of Zug. At the present time, he is president and legal counsel of a non-profit foundation concerning the issues of elderly people.
Publications
Peter Georg Studer is co-author of the book „Foundation against overhasty Legal Protection“ („Stiftung gegen voreiligen Rechtsschutz“) and composer of several essays and other writings.
